US hypocricy: More Evidence that Pat was murdered

Pat Tillman walked away from a three million dollar football contract to fight terrorism. He was a genuinely patriotic American. Afghanistan had a large al Qaeda presence and Osama bin Laden was rumored to be there. Tillman joined the Special Forces and was fighting al Qaeda over there. But then, George Bush declared war on Iraq. Tillman didn’t believe that Iraq had anything to do with the 911 attack. Tillman was ordered to serve a tour of duty in Iraq and was eventually sent back to Afghanistan, where he was killed. The original report claimed that Tillman was killed by enemy fire. Five weeks later it was admitted that he was “accidentally” shot in a friendly fire incident.

The original friendly fire story released by our government claimed that Pat Tillman’s unit broke up into two parts and ambushed itself. A likely mistake for a poorly trained National Guard unit, but not for an elite Special Forces unit. A recent documentary on the Tillman story showed a heavy machine gun on a Humvee firing at Tillman’s position despite his repeated attempts to contact them.

A CNN article reports “Tillman died in ‘friendly fire.’ He was hit in the head by three bullets fired by U.S. soldiers who say they mistook him for the enemy.”

Now think about this for a minute. Tillman was supposedly shot because US soldiers mistook him for the enemy. But Tillman was close enough for someone to hit him three times in the head. There is no way anyone could mistake the square-jawed Tillman for a Taliban fighter, especially if they were that close.

Another article reports “Tillman had very unembedded feelings about the Iraq War. His close friend Army Spec. Russell Baer remembered, ‘I can see it like a movie screen. We were outside of [an Iraqi city] watching as bombs were dropping on the town…. We were talking. And Pat said, ‘You know, this war is so f***ing illegal.’ And we all said, ‘Yeah.’ That’s who he was. He totally was against Bush.”

The neocons and Bush view anyone, who doesn’t go along with their war on Iraq as a “traitor.” Bush even called VFW members “traitors” for wearing yellow paper “Bull— Detectors” on their ears when Bush came to speak to a VFW chapter.

The neocons are obsessed with public relations and imagery. If the most famous American, who gave up everything to fight the “war on terror,” didn’t believe the Iraq War was legal and thought George Bush a disgrace, the neocons would never want this to be made public. It would be much “better” for them to have Tillman die a “heroic” death in battle, than to have his real thoughts about the neocons and George Bush made public. All it would take is one soldier with secret orders to kill Tillman. Some assault rifles can be set to fire a three round burst, and it seems increasingly likely someone pointed a gun at Tillman’s head and squeezed off a three round burst to remove a potential embarrassment to the neocon cause.

There is already a powerful circumstantial case that Pat Tillman was deliberately murdered. The two remaining pieces of the puzzle would be a confession by the assassin, which is unlikely to happen (Tillman’s assassin will most likely be murdered by the neocons to further hide the truth.) and a story about a book deal between Tillman and some big name publisher, who was all set to tell the real Pat Tillman story about how he joined the military out of patriotism and was forced to fight in Bush’s illegal war in Iraq. There is additional speculation that Tillman may have seen some unspeakable atrocities in Iraq and may have found out about CIA drug trafficking in Afghanistan. The Taliban had banned the growing of opium, but stories about the opium fields returning are common. Someone must be making a profit off the illegal drug trade.
