Crypto-zionist organizations such as Human Rights Watch, Reporters without Borders, and the Committee to Protect Journalists, are calling Hugo Chavez a dictator that “opposes free speech” and “threatens human rights.” On May 27, the public broadcast license of Rádio Caracas Televisión (RCTV) will expire. Hugo Chavez will not renew its license, because RCTV was involved in the Bush-sponsored coup attempt in April 2002. RCTV is Venezuela’s oldest private TV station, and has 3,000 employees. It will continue to use cable, satellite, and the Internet – but it won’t be allowed to use public broadcast frequencies. RCTV is owned by Marcel Granier, a Rupert Murdoch of the south. Rich and corrupt, Granier is radically opposed to Chavez. He supported Bush’s military coup against Chavez in 2002. During the oil strike of 2002-2003, RCTV repeatedly called upon viewers to help topple the government. It uses lies, sometimes with gruesome and violent imagery, to convince viewers that Chavez is behind murders. Chávez has given poor Venezuelans increased access to health care, education, and subsidized food. During the last three and a half years, Venezuela’s economy has expanded by 40 percent. Crypto-Zionists say Chavez should have let the courts decide on the licensing matter. However, broadcasting laws in Venezuela allow the executive branch to make all decisions regarding licenses. The laws were written in 1987, when Venezuela was still under the tyranny of the rich. If the rich were still in power today, the crypto-zionists would say the corrupt dictator is legally allowed to do as he likes. In April 2002 Bush launched a coup against Chavez, just as Kissinger launched a coup against Chile in September 1973, which put the bloodthirsty Salvador Allende in power. In 1973 the CIA called this “Plan Z.” During the April 2002 coup, the RCTV station lied and said Chavez had resigned. RCTV owner Marcel Granier also urged coup leaders to address the country on his channel. Bush’s puppet, Pedro Carmona, declared himself president, dissolved the National Assembly, plus the Supreme Court, and other democratic institutions, and prepared to assume power as absolute dictator. Marcel Granier, the head of RCTV, met with Carmona in the Presidential Palace. The following day, mass protests and loyal army units brought back Chávez, but RCTV blacked out the news, showing movies and cartoons instead. According to the crypto-zionists, this is all “free speech.” If a U.S. TV station did the same thing in a coup against Bush, would it be “free speech”? The Jewish-controlled FTC would immediately revoke the station’s license, and all the station people would be sent to Guantanamo. Most of the media in Venezuela is anti-Chavez. It is run by corrupt rich people, the kind that Chavez deposed. The non-renewal of RCTV’s license will not affect other channels. They are free to continue blasting Chavez. So is RCTV -- but not on the public frequencies. Of the top four private TV stations, three have entertainment that is a Rupert Murdoch wet dream of smut. However their news sections condemn Chavez. The fourth, Globovisión, is a 24-hour news channel that is very opposed to Chavez. When Chavez invites African leaders to visit Venezuela, RCTV “news” shows dub “wooga wooga” gorilla noises into the background, signifying that black people are monkeys. RCTV also broadcasts the American TV show “24.” (I suspect that RCTV owner Marcel Granier is Jewish.) Two of the three main newspapers are radically anti-Chavez. The third is neutral. Chavez wants to democratize the public airwaves, with less control in the hands of media oligarchs and more in the hands of Venezuela’s people. It’s amazing that RCTV was allowed to broadcast for 5 years after the coup, and that the Chávez government waited until RCTV's license expired to end its domination of the public airwaves. Nonetheless, the crypto-zionists say Chavez is a dictator that threatens “free speech” and “human rights.” Granier himself said, "Chavez must choose between the democratic path Venezuelans want, or he can follow the terrible path where Fidel Castro, Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin showed the way.” Source: Wakeupfromyourslumber
